Star Fox for Super NES is like some kind of lost link in my gamer childhood. It has amazing graphics for its time, it has good music, and playability is okay. It's not better than its Nintendo 64 counterpart in my opinion, but it is very decent. It was released in 1993 but I played it until 2015 (not counting the couple of times I got the chance to check it for some minutes a long time ago).
I feel like it is fine, I actually liked it, but something tells me that I would have truly loved this game if I had played it as a kid instead of playing it now that I'm an adult. Somehow I regret not playing it when my reasoning sense was much less complex, when I got easily impressed by silly things.

But then I imagine myself sharing this game with my former self. With that silly and naive kid who loved to spend his vacations playing in his 16-bit console. And I get why I love old games so much, I realize it would make me happy if I had received a gift like this from my future (now present) self.

Never let your inner child die. Don't be afraid of growing up, like I was when I thought I had to lose interest in videogames and cartoons when I grow up. When I got over that issue, I got over the fear to grow up. Your inner child defines who you are, so you won't become a gray adult like society thinks you "should" be.
